How to Unbrick a PSP. For those of you that don't know what a 'brick' is, it's basically when you turn your PSP on, the green light turns on, the screen stays blank, and then it shuts itself off. Here is how to fix this problem. It's a custom memory stick that has files for reflashing your PSP. Type in Google 'How to make a magic memory.
CoolSkAGuy Yes, you can. Once the game has loaded up, hit your 'Home' button and there you will find control mapping, screen sizing options, and lots of other good stuff. Be aware that if you use certain settings you should be prepared for some minor distortions and pixelization on certain titles and certain screens because they were originally programmed with 4:3 aspect ration in mind.
But yes, you can utilize the whole PSP screen if'n ya wanna. Your settings will be saved so that the title will boot with your options intact once you back out of the 'Home' menu.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need further explaination.
What game are you playing, by the way? Some of the PS1 titles come out with the most messed up control mapping and I have lots of settings for lots of those games which make them more fun to play. 'Medal of Honor' is the biggest offender of unplayable button mapping. I have a great setting for it now though which makes the game a joy to play.
